Was able to install this long-shaft starter without removing any DR parts except oil pipe. Did it by marking top and bottom of starter in several places with a sharpie and removing the top. Not super easy, the O-ring particularly finicky. Lot of fiddling but there's adequate clearance to get the top back on, much easier than messing with the CCT I think; CCT gaskets are a known leak area.
