Pump works just fine. But the 2 hose tails were not suitable. They tapper down, narrowing at the end and this meant it was impossible to get a tight enough fit without fuel leaking. Luckily I had 2 for the pump I was replacing and they had a lip on the end, allowing the clip to tighten the pipe without a leak. But as I say, pump is good.

It sounds like the 6mm unions you've ordered were too small for the fuel hose inner diameter you are using. Perhaps 8mm unions would clamp down properly with the correct size jubilee clip. We've been supplying Sytec unions with Facet pumps for over 20 years without issues and our feedback speaks for its self. Get in touch if you'd like to discuss and resolve this.
