shipped promptly, very well packed. This is important as 3 of the recent older porcelain pottery items I ordered were received damaged. These precious handmade items are not replaceable and proper packing is vital to preserve this bit of American handmade history. However the missing clay and surface paint were very substantial and not realized until I received the piece. This seller overcharged for a badly damaged piece and didn't disclose it properly.
