They burned & discolored by exhaust header heat, but they were only rated at 1500° These are supposed to be rated at 2500°. I’ll let you know soon in a feedback follow up if there are in fact a higher rated temperature, because 2500° shouldn’t change color. I am installing them on a new set of Excel, porcelain plug wires.
