The finish of the BBQ is mostly from stainless steel or powder coated alloy steel, and the product requires self assembly. We have sold over 1000 units and haven't received any other reports of the finish being poor or being unstable. If you need any assistance with the assembly please feel free to contact us, the product should be stable when assembled correctly.
