That's the genuine Michelin quality for tires. My previous experience with similar tires (Country Mud, Protek 1.4") is that it lasts really long, has great grip (given you're in the terrain it's meant for), and exceptional rip resistance. Even with a rip over 1cm long in a Protek tire I could patch the air tube, place a small PET bottle plastic piece in and ride with the tire inflated to its working 60psi without bumps or anything. So I have high expectations for the Protek Cross.
