- h***r (51)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseAfter the CDI arrived in good time, I installed it on my AT 750, it started nicely but stuttered thru the gears on 3000+revs. After riding like this 2kms it stopped. Push back home, inspect the new CDI it now has a lump and was warm. Next day, same thing, stopping 1 to 2 kms away. I make contact to this company, he says test the coils, unplug the sidestand etc, I do, then he says my OHMS are out by a magnitude yet according to my AT manual they are spot on.Reply from: square-motorcycle-parts- Feedback replied by seller square-motorcycle-parts.- Feedback replied by seller square-motorcycle-parts.Hi there, after you provided us with some test results, the ignition coils on the bike were quite far out of spec so this would have been the cause of the CDI failure. As you have been advised now we strongly recommend replacing the coils on your bike and testing further electronic components prior to fitting a new CDI to avoid this happening again.
