By reducing some of the blue light, that was being emitted by the Ultraviolet lights that I use. There are no white dots on these filters as is shown in the images for them. They are just a dark blue in color. Of course the more of these you buy in one transaction the better the deal they are as the shipping cost is a base price of at least one.
