I’m aware of the disadvantages of in-line crossovers but the advantages are much greater. I’ve tried passive and active types but I’m using a low wattage amp to power the sub on my deck since the in-lines don’t rob power from the amp there’s no or little loss of volume or clarity, yes they are not adjustable but I carefully chose the nearest crossover frequency for this set up, sounds great I’m satisfied.
