I thought the tap would break.My shoulders are still stiff but now I have a nice threaded hole for an acme lead screw . I am very happy with the purchase. The material I was tapping into was a piece of fork lift tine. Fairly tough stuff.

The stainless one looks less ostentatious so I didn't challenge. Arrived very quickly. Seems quite robust and well made. I haven't tested it for surviving an impact yet but it is quite comfortable to wear and is heavy enough to feel and look well made. My fear when purchasing was that it may be more decorative and made of a lighter material and not 'functional', but that doesn't appear to be the case ;) I'm happy!
