- s***m (151)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseCame earlier than expected and worked fine. i ordered it for 16 year old ceiling fan used on patio. Fan was not coming up to full speed so changed out both capacitors and this was one. My motor theory and repair goes back about 58 years ago so not sure if the cap needed was polarized or not. I ordered the one with the red and white leads matching what came out. One with both black leads cam so I installed it anyway and the fan ran fine. There was no definition of which lead was which.
- o***a (246)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseMy Hunter ceiling fan only worked on speed 1 and 2. When I switched to 3, it ran at the same speed as 2. I replaced this 2 wire capacitor and now it works on all 3 settings properly. The original capacitor was 300v 5uf. Fixed the fan for under $10. Glad it worked or I would of had to buy a new ceiling fan.

Seller replied promptly that mine with two black wires made no difference if it were not red and white. Capacitor was shipped quickly and well packaged. Would buy again.

I can only imagine what they went through to get to me?
