Un film pour les amateurs de films d'horreur vintage. Des productions toujours très léchées, voir un peu kitch, et si la véritable épouvante n'est pas au rendez-vous, un certain frisson peut nous parcourir l'échine en imaginant Christopher Lee jaillir de l'écran accompagner de ses femmes vampires. Ce n'est pas le meilleur de la Hammer, mais c'est un joli voyage dans le temps, vers le cinéma technicolor et l'ère victorienne.
