I placed this on my AKAI 4000DS MKII unit, rechecked head alignments and operating levels, then played 3.75 and 7.5 ips tapes. The wheel is very true and eliminated the perceivable wow that I was hearing with the previous, out of round pinch roller. Worth the extra cost, I will buy these Rollers for any future reel to reel renovations. A precision part, it was packaged well to protect it during shipment..
