This was due to the mounting bracket difference so combined both my old and the purchased to create one that would work also had to use my electric pigtail off my old and splice wiring. This wasn’t a used direct replacement for my 06 ram 3500. Was also more expensive than others offering same product with free shipping. Although I was satisfied since I was able to create a one that works and looks original!!!
