Notes
6 Grit is a hard rock band built on the foundation of solid musicianship with classic rock roots. Tony Storm and Steve V. Lee met in June of 2011 while Steve was auditioning vocalist-and-co-founder Tony for a previous project that Lee was involved in at the time. The two shared the same mentality and hard work ethic. Several months later the duo would start to collaborate together, writing songs, and form what would become 6 Grit. The two built the band around what they love best; solid rock and roll music with catchy riffs, killer musicianship, strong vocals, and songwriting that takes you on a journey through all facets of life. The music says it all and the influences of the band range from bands like The Cult, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Scorpions, Aerosmith, Kiss and Led Zeppelin. Their style ranges from classic 70's rock and roll to 80's hard rock to alternative rock influences from the 1990's all the way up to today's music. If you enjoy bands like Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains or today's radio favorites like Seether or Three Doors down, chances are you will enjoy 6 Grit's blend of rock and roll. The band focuses on original material and is a 5 piece attack with two guitar players, bass, vocals, and drums.
