Disney Sing It: Family Hits for Nintendo Wii is a kid-friendly video game that allows players to enjoy favorite Disney songs. This Disney karaoke video game offers 30 songs from classic and contemporary animated films. Tracks are taken from time-tested Disney hits like “Mary Poppins,” “The Jungle Book,” and “Winnie the Pooh,” as well as more recent blockbusters, such as “Cars,” “A Bug’s Life,” and “Toy Story.” With Disney Sing It: Family Hits, players can serenade solo or with family and friends in a collaborative or competitive mode. The collaborative mode allows up to eight players to sing, either together as a group, or by passing the microphone from one player to the next. In the competitive mode, two players compete for the most points. Singers can play back performances and add voice effects with the Sing It Encore feature. A bonus feature on this Disney karaoke video game is a series of coaching lessons by Anika Noni Rose, the voice of Princess Tiana in “The Princess and the Frog.” Rose teaches young singers how to hit high, low, long, and short notes. Lessons are accompanied by challenges that players can try alone or as a group. When playing Disney Sing It: Family Hits on Nintendo Wii, the song is accompanied by full-screen video from the movie. Notes and scores appear at the bottom of the screen, along with the lyrics. Appropriate for the whole family, this game is rated E (Everyone).
