Defected, having been one of the first labels to embrace this by joining forces with local promotions giant Submerge, now release the next 'In the House' series, 'Goa 09'. Defected A&R director Simon Dunmore has recruited the skills of dj/producer don ATFC and India leading female house jock, DJ Pearl, to deliver a diverse mix which represents the true sound of the Indian House Scene in CD1 Dunmore provides the most Soulful mix of the 3. Featuring loads of exclusives from the label including Hideo Kobayashi's remix of Hollis P Munroe's 'This Way' and Chocolate Puma's 'Whohaddrumss' alongside anthem of the moment Chocolate Puma's 'Touch Me' and the Monatanas 'Music Talking'. Not just using the artillery from his own labels, Dunmore has also brought in Dennis Ferrers killer mix of the Sunburst Bands 'Journey to the Sun', Mark Knights great rework of 'Man with the red face' and Henrik Schwarz hypnotic remix of Ann Bruns 'Headphone silence' to kick the comp off with a bang. ATFC ups the tempo on CD2 and gives US a slice of this techy yet funky sound we've come to expect from the big man. Alongside a wealth of this own productions are tracks from TV Rock, David Penn, Gadjo, Mark Trophy and Dirty South.
