I was surprised to discover that the original Bosch component in my Boxster had worked perfectly well for 24 years. This German-made replacement is a fraction of the price, and would appear to be doing a fine job so far. Fitting is simple enough, but it's not exactly plug & play : I had to do some research to discover how to enable it to communicate with the car's ECU.
