What's more, the Western Digital hard drive also keeps information moving by utilizing Time-Limited Error Recovery (TLER). This reduces the time a drive spends on attempted error recovery. The creators of the Western Digital RE2 believe in their product and give it a 1.2 million hours MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) rating. The internal hard drive is 1.03-inches tall, 4-inches wide, has a depth of 5.79-inches, and weighs 1.32 lbs. It's spindle speed is 7,200 RPM.
