Purchased along with some 3/8 ferrite to make up a worthwhile order. This is a very big rod at 12.7mm, but we will find a use. The 9.5mm rod from this seller works well in our crystal radios, so we have bought his remaining stock.

9.5mm ferrite with a fully circular cross section. Perfect for 50 turns + 30 turn coupler in our crystal radio design. This is a repeat order as we make more radios this summer to follow the first batch made using this sellers ferrite rods. The circular section is easy for manual coil winding.
