The book was in excellent condition related to its age. I bought it for my father who served in the 531 St Missile Battalion in Germany in 1957. He told me that he enjoyed the first 1/4 of the book as it told the history of the original battalion roots in El Paso. TX and a few pages about the Corporal Missile that started a revolution in air defense. He was disappointed that there was very little information on the battalion events once they arrived in Germany and the remaining book was pics.
