After opening 4 layers of protective packaging I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of this Das Weltall book edited by D. Wattenberg. The book was in much better condition than I expected although there was damage to one of the the front pages. D. Wattenberg took over the operation of the Treptow Observatory from my uncle Gunter and grandfather Dr. Friedrich Simon Archenhold who were expelled by the Nazis in 1936. My grandfather had produced 36 volumes since 1900.
