Good communication and item description, but shipping was more than it should have been, even with pre- and post-win discussion with seller. Kudos to seller for offering to cancel the sale if I didn't want to accept the shipping cost, but I chose to complete the purchase. Still, charging at least $5 more than actual shipping cost should have been disclosed in the listing as a handling fee.

shipping is always what ebay lists on listing because bidders base their bids upon that. i asked him if that was the shipping on the listing and he said yes and it was only his estimate that it should be lower. he only paid ebays automated invoice that was listed during the auction. you cannot negotiate shipping costs after the auctions ending because it would be very unethical to other bidders.
