Seller Notes: “This Lithograph is made after the original gouache, created in 1918-1920 by Maurice de Vlaminck, ... “This Lithograph is made after the original gouache, created in 1918-1920 by Maurice de Vlaminck, titled "Le Place du Village" meaning the "Village Square". This gouache was made in de Vlaminck's post-impressionism period, also referred to as his expressionism period. The lithograph was made in 1950 and carrie's the signature in the plate (lower left, photo 6), as well as the Hand Signed Signature in pencil (photo 5) and is Numbered 250/250 in pencil (photo 6) of the 1950 edition. Photo 6, 7, 8 and 9 shows the artwork with mat and frame. Both are included in the sale, however the artwork will be shipped without the glass). The dimensions of the framed lithograph are: 28"3/8 x 23"7/8 (72.1 cm x 60.6 cm). The opening in the mat measures 22" x 19"1/4 (55.8 cm x 48.9 cm).Overall the artwork is in good condition, bright colors, no browning, toning in the image and doesn't show it is a 70 year old vintage lithograph.”
