The top is to large for the base so it doesn't seat flush. With a pressure canner that works metal to metal as a seal this has to have a perfect seal or it can explode. I am very familiar with using these canners, so don't think you can tell me I don't know how to use it. This product is to dangerous to test making it unusable. I expect to be fully refunded and if they want it back they should pay for the return postage as well.
