My bedroom is about 300 square feet with a low ceiling, around 8 feet. This unit can keep it pleasantly humid after it runs 4 hours on high setting, then low. I will move it from floor to dresser top to see if it works faster that way at raising ambient humidity. I use it to reduce nasal congestion from dry winter air and radiators. Price was moderate, delivery fast.
