Item is hard and not soft rubber like that which Honda uses to isolate a Speedo from vibration. I realise it's not an OEM or original item from Honda, but even though I knew this I brought it as I needed one. But I think it is highly unethical to advertise this item with a Honda part bag under the item in the picture thus giving the impression that "IT" is an original item which could be deceptive to other buyers.
