This one came with a bottle of oil. I tipped the whole thing in and the level as viewed through the glass window sat in the middle, so all good. It runs quietly and seems to work ok. The guage set seems well constructed and comes with an adapter for split system air conditioning units. Although I have run it, I haven't used it yet but expect it will go well.
