The good: it's a drop-in replacement because it's the same product line as my previous drive, which is good.
The bad: I was never told it doesn't burn DVD-RW and DVD+RW. Strange, since it supports DVD-RAM. A bit teed off, but no worry, I'll just buy some DVD-Rs and use those.
