It could have done with a bit of clean before it was sent, however, there was nothing to giving it a quick wipe. I adjusted the pressure to that of our location. This was trickier than I had expected as the dial did not move smoothly and, with a couple of soft taps, it would move off the setting. Anyway, with a wee bit of play to and fro, I managed to set it and it has remained within 1.5 kPa ever since
