It's made of solid wood and has metal corner braces on the exterior and interior of every corner. The metal cage inside was used to store bottles upright. All 4 sides have openings at the top to use as handles and the 2 wider sides have the carved text, "Orchard Farms Dairy Dallas, PA."The metal has rust and the wood has a worn, dry finish. There some cracks and splits in a couple of the slats, however, the box was built so well that it's still strong and sturdy with no rot, weak joints, or looseness.Dimensions:15" x 12 1/4" x 8 3/4" H (9 1/2" including pegs sticking up on top of metal corner braces)”
