Fixed all the known problems when I got GTO 17 years ago (used) and all with upgraded parts, garage kept. Now I find the occasional erratic shifting was from original owners power shifting the automatic beating it and slowly breaking the plastic of the inner shift knob. They repaired by stuffing plastic bread clips inside under the shift button. You know who you are.
