After looking everywhere for a replacement that was almost impossible to find, we finally located a spring that was the correct length and ordered it from GrapevineSally. Our appliance technician arrived today and installed the replacement spring. Although it is not an exact match to the original that broke, we are hopeful it will hold up well...so far so good. This was a AAA+ transaction! Do you REALLY think we made any money on that 1 knob after the acquisition, transportation, disassembly, clean up, employee labor, photography/marketing, and the 13 points Ebay charges. We offer those items at a loss so vintage stove enthusiasts (like us) that have a gorgeous old stove but are tired of staring at the empty clock stem. We are sorry it was out of your budget.
