I had to remove the new double sided tape from back as my existing sensor is screwed to the door. Since the replacement sensor is identical to the existing sensor, I used the same screws and holes for mounting. Set up was very fast as my system immediately recognized the sensor. I had to remove the terminal block from the top of the sensor to access the top screw hole. I am very satisfied with this purch
