Some of the pieces are not the same shade by quite a bit to notice the difference in color. Some of the pieces had to be altered to fit the controller properly. Once the modifications were made it fit just fine and again works as it is supposed to. If the color/shade difference was a big bother to me I would've returned it and purchased a different one but I'm not that picky as others may be.
