The regular ASUS bios would not flash due to it not being the OEM branded bios. Ended up having to use a CH341a chip programmer to flash the ASUS original ROM so it could be up to date. Thankfully, I had the tool on hand so it wasn’t too hard, but I could definitely see this causing issues with some people, especially if you need re-bar.
