Hooking it up to my FLEX-8600 was easy enough and the transverter works for TX and RX. Two things to be aware of: The power output is 39dbm or 8W. This was determined with a high end Keysight power meter and 13.8V DC. Harmonically it isn't clean and must have a BPF before the antenna to suppress harmonics products. It should also help with FM stations overloading the frontend. As a basic 4m transverter it is OK.
