- _***o (351)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThis device is both bulky and hot, when in use, so should be well-ventilated and placed away from other components. Nothing should be placed above it. It is better to coil the leads for cooling purposes, as it will take out a soldered joint if leads are cut too short. Some technicians use them as temperature controlled heating elements, as they are very long-lived, if under-run. It is better to screw and clamp these in place, rather than solder them.
