They feel like factory quality devices and plugged and played on an Atari 7800+ with no problems. They look sleek and like a custom NES controller. It is nice to use them on an Atari product. The seller builds them when you order, so it takes a little time ... be patient, it is worth it. The seller communicated and gave updates on production regularly. These are a great buy.

Trying it out on an Atari 7800+, I think it’s a huge improvement over the stock CX78+ controller. And even though these are built to order, mine was assembled and shipped much faster than expected. Communication with the seller was also fantastic! I would highly recommend these to any Atari enthusiast looking for a better controller for their console.

Hooked up to an Atari 2600+ with version 2.0 firmware and I tried original 7800 games (such as Centipede and Choplifter) as well as new release 7800 games (such as Space Duel and Ninja Golf) and I most certainly enjoyed my gaming with the controller! Funny that a 7800 controller looks like an NES controller; perhaps the 7800 was Atari’s attempt to compete with Nintendo? Anyways, thank you again!

The seller was very communicative since this is a custom built controller, and kept me updated through the process. Once it was done it arrived quickly, and well packaged. The controller feels top notch, and like an original unit from back in the day. Above all for the Amiga, the button mapping, allowing a jump on a button instead of up, makes a world of difference. This makes playing platform games a breeze, compared to a joystick. Thanks!!

On Antarctic Adventure, I was never able to get past stage 10… on first playthrough with the new controller I managed to get to stage 40!! A true testament to its greatness!
