    I charged and discharged twice to calibrate. It seemed fine, but then the BIOS in my laptop refused to accept a charge because it did not recognize this as a genuine dell battery. This tells me that the firmware of the battery was poorly programmed. I spent 2 days troubleshooting and trying everything I could find on the Internet to make i work. I have learned that Dell BIOS will accept a charge on non-Dell batteries for a little while before it stops accepting the charge. Did get a fast refund
