The L3 comes set at 50% power, so don't be surprised at the initial low output. My only fault for the L3 is that it comes in a nice case, but they loaded the items so that the LED display screen was butted-up against the folded barn doors, resulting is some gouges to the screen display. Not bad enough to return, but annoying nonetheless.
