Now that I've replaced them with these new hood Lift Shock Supporters, the weight is on the struts making for a nicer and easier opening of the hood.

Longer than original, it measure 62cm instead of 59cm, therefore cannot fit. To expensive to send back, I simply throw away.Reply from: sparepart1983- Feedback replied by seller sparepart1983.- Feedback replied by seller sparepart1983.The reason why your original support rods are shorter might be that prolonged use has prevented them from springing back to their maximum length.You could first remove your two original car support rods, then manually push your car's trunk door upward with force to its highest position, and then install my support rods. After that, they should work properly. You can give it a try. Thank you!
