    So after an initial issue with missing parts (which the seller dealt with very quickly) I have now fitted the banister. Overall, if you follow the instructions closely and have some DIY skills, fitting these should not be an issue. As advised I painted in advance, you also need to think carefully about where you will plug these in. I bought some trunking to hide the wire. During installation the banisters have been marked so will need another coat. Good seller - great comms, fast delivery.

    Brackets are not to size with the handrail, brackets are at least 3.5mm wider Putting it together is not easy, the cable run for the led strip is not well thought out considering you have to put screws through the bracket into the mop stick handle where the cables pass, risking damage. It also comes with a transformer that needs plugging into a socket, would prefer it provided with an adequate driver to be powered from the lighting circuit
