The Melodic released their debut EP, on My Way, on the heels of a spring/summer US residency and tour where they quickly won new friends with their fresh sound. The young band from South London, UK, offer a vibrant new brand of Afro-Folk-Pop that, while inspired by '60s Folk, incorporates an assortment of influences from around the world. It's members utilize instruments such as the Charango, Melodic and Kora to create music that joyously defies categorization and exhibits a clear reverence for past masters while mixing in global sounds to create a music entirely their own.
