A Magna 630 Band Saw is a wood cutting saw. as it states in the details of the product woodcutting bandsaws (average 800 to 3500 fpm) this is not slow enough (40 to 300 fpm) for cutting metals (like steel). the fail is due to the speeds of the saw not the blade.
