They strip clean and easy, and the insulation has a sufficiently high melting point, which prevents it from shrinking back and causing shorts to nearby solder points. Having separate colors in the project also reduces the possibility of making errors when hooking up and troubleshooting. Very nicely packed, and the little flat spindles keeps them easy to store and dispense. Rare to find in small quantity and variety.

The only caveat is that stripping can be a little annoying at times but far from a very far from a meaningful problem. Most of the time with good technique the wires strip perfectly but sometimes only a portion scrapes off. I don't mention this as a complaint but only in regards to there being a slim chance the manufacturer actually gets this feedback and then, further, is able to improve the consistency of the insulation.
