If mailing a medal (or any item for that matter), I would hope it be placed at least in a ziploc bag if it is going to be sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard. Or a bubble mailer entirely, especially since I did pay full price for the item. Medal was as described. The medal doesnt move, cant be crushed bent or damaged. Its package sealed so tight that a postal truck could run it over and it would be unharmed. If youd like, next time, Ill charge the extra $1.50 for a bubble mailer and raise the shipping price by another $5 to accomodate the size and weight. Ive been selling since 2007, NEVER had an item break / arrived damaged using this method. Since 2007 you are only the 3rd person / feedback to bring it up.
