We believe it is WWI era. It keeps perfect time. We synced it with the Apple World clock and it was off only 3 seconds over 5 days...and frankly that 3 scion discrepancy might just have been the delay between us changing/observations/setting the minute-hand during the test. It has such a beautiful patina. We only dusted it off. It feels like silk on all sides and front brass surfaces. The glass bezel hasn't any noticeable scratches, it is pristine. This is a 7-Jewel clock that just screams to be brought back into prominence on the deserving mantle, desk or wall. It comes as shown with the provided wind-up key. We do not think the key is original but it is a snug/correct fit with no slop.”
