This Astatic 636L 4-pin microphone also features a soft vinyl lip guard, stainless steel spring strain relief, and a polyurethane-coated steel grille. The Astatic 636L handheld, dynamic mic was designed for close talking in areas with high background noise. Popular among truckers, the 636L has been used commercially in public service agencies throughout the USA. The housing is rugged to ensure that you can talk on the microphone even if it takes a beating. The Astatic 636L handheld mic features a frequency response of 100Hz to 5,000Hz, and 200 OHMS impedance. The lower impedance means the signal will flow through the microphone easily. The cable consists of six wires, five conductors, one conductor shielded, coiled cord with a durable strain relief. The coiled cord doesn’t tangle, so it makes reaching for the microphone and grabbing it an easy task, and it coils when you put it back up on its hook. When coiled, the cord is only 4 feet in length.
