Michael Jackson: The Experience is a motion-controlled rhythm game that aims to have players singing and dancing along with the King of Pop, on more than two dozen of his biggest hits. Players move their Wii Remotes in time with the music, following on-screen cues. Routines are modelled after the artist's choreography, as seen in famous music videos and live performances, using a rotoscoping animation technique to reproduce the actual poses and postures. Up to four players can compete or cooperate, to the tune of "Beat it," "Billie Jean," "Smooth Criminal," and 23 other tracks. Players have the option of turning on a karaoke-like display of the lyrics to each song, so that the whole party can sing along.
